We can't accept personal checks. Orders shipped to addresses within New York State are charged local sales tax. Orders shipped to addresses outside of New York State are not charged sales tax.

We ship in-stock items via UPS Ground or the US Postal Service within 2 business days of receiving the order. Orders can be shipped to addresses other than the billing address of the credit card. A shipping and handling charge is added based on the total order amount before applicable sales tax and/or gift box charges are applied:

Gift boxing is not available online at this time.
We want you to be completely happy with everything you buy from us. But in the unlikely event you're not totally satisfied we will accept all full priced items back for exchange, store credit, or refund of the purchase price within 30 days of delivery. Returned items should be in their original condition and in their original packaging. For items that are damaged, defective, or not what you ordered, we will be happy to refund your original shipping cost. For your own protection, please ship items securely packed, insured and with a request for signature to:

Web purchases can also be returned in person at the above address during open hours. Sale items can only be returned for store credit or exchange.
We make every effort to keep our website up-to-date regarding item availability, and most out-of-stock items can be ordered and placed on back-order unless otherwise noted. In the event an item listed as being in stock and ready to ship turns out to be unavailable, we will inform you by email as soon as possible and place the item on back-order. We don't charge your credit card until we ship the item.
You may cancel your order before it is shipped by emailing us at orders@cogandpearl.com. Please include your order number in the email and we'll respond to confirm the cancellation. If your order has already been shipped, please refuse delivery if possible. Otherwise, wait for it to arrive and then follow the return instructions enclosed. In the event that your order has already been sent, shipping charges are non-refundable.
